Kunming is the first Chinese city to sign the "Declaration of Edinburgh". We have always advocated the harmonious coexistence between man and nature. We have actively explored biodiversity conservation and established many nature reserves, wetland parks, and ecological corridors. Kunming has partnered with ICLEI to establish the ICLEI-Kunming International Center of Excellence for Cities with Nature which is dedicated to promoting experience sharing, technologies and capabilities of the cities. Kunming is looking forward to deepening collaboration with more cities to promote local biodiversity actions and support the implementation of the new global framework.
