Huzhou is the cradle of the concept "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", serving as an important "window" that showcases China's achievements in the construction of ecological civilization. Huzhou was conferred the title of International Cooperation Demonstration Zone of Ecological Civilization at CBD COP 15 in Montreal in December 2022. Huzhou will strengthen exchanges and cooperation with cities around the world, and make concerted efforts to implement the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
