Since COP10 was held in Nagoya, Aichi in 2010, we have been promoting conservation and restoration of nature and the sustainable use of biodiversity in close proximity to the city together with citizens and companies.
In October 2023, based on the Kunming Montreal Biodiversity Framework, which is a new global target, the city formulated an action plan that sets out concrete matters and a roadmap to be focused and prioritized by 2030.
We will continue to work toward the realization of a nature-positive environment in order to pass on the rich biodiversity of the earth to future generations.
